Silhouette of free man. Conceptual composition.

We loved seeing everyone this weekend! Feel free to message us during the week if you have any questions. If you missed this week’s message, or want to hear it again, check out our SERMONS Page. Messages are generally posted each week by Tuesday afternoon.

Every week, we aim to provide you with some questions to process the message deeper, either personally or with a small group. Here are some questions for you to consider from the message “Weapons of Mass Deconstruction” with Pastor Derick Brown.

  • Acts 1:8
  • Hebrews 12:25-27
  • Malachi 3:2-3
  • Revelation 1:6
  • 1 Peter 2:9-10
  • 1 Peter 1:6-7

Discuss these questions with someone—maybe a family member, friend, or member of your Connect Group. Use a communication method that works best for your situation.

Find a conversation starter.

  • Define: Dynamic, deconstruction, fear, truth, religion
  • Holy Spirit is dynamic; where do you need Holy Spirit to be Dynamic?
  • Where is Holy Spirit dynamic in your life?

Ask a question to get you/your group thinking.

  • What does deconstruction look like?
  • What is the purpose of deconstructing your faith?
  • What changes might God be trying to make in or through your life?
  • What vision of the future is or might God be showing you?

Choose a question to create openness.

  • What does a Royal Priesthood look like to you in your life?
  • Are there any areas or parts of your life that are not working correctly? Explain
  • What are you afraid of, both in life and in the deconstruction process?
  • What does the spirit of adventure look like in your life?

Be bold and pray with power.

Holy Spirit,

Help me find the answers to the questions I have been afraid to ask. Help me to deconstruct my faith in order to live the simple life Jesus lived while he walked on earth.

Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  1. Pray for Shawn, Deanna, and family.
  2. Do a study on how the Old Testament applies to the New Testament or the other way around.
  3. Find someone to partner with to deconstruct or review what you believe and why.
  4. Seek God as to what he would like to blow up/deconstruct in your life. Then partner with Him and an accountability partner.
  • Pick one or two of those options and take steps to walk them out this week.
