Prayer Requests

At Destiny, we believe prayer makes a difference. How can we pray for you this week?

NOTE: Any prayer requests you share with us will remain confidential and only shared with staff, as instructed below. Please mark “anonymous”, if you want us to share your request anonymously, or “do not share” to leave your request off of the public prayer wall and email list.

You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Tell us more about your request and how we can pray for you. Please just provide as much information as is necessary so we know how to pray for you. Please do not include full names (where it would be inappropriate), sensitive details, or excessive background information.

I start teaching a Bible study at Full Circle treatment tonight (Monday) at 6. Please pray as this is not my comfort zone!

Also, please pray. I’m on a beta-blocker per heart doctor, but I’m meeting with my primary care doc on Thursday to discuss a sleep study as I believe there is possibly an underlying condition like sleep apnea that is a trigger for rapid heart rate when I sleep. Thanks!

I'm asking for prayer for Shirley Hayes, who has lost her sight in one eye, and now the other eye is going blind, as well. She is undergoing injections of an experimental drug, and will have her first dose on Tuesday. Thank you.

I have been asked to be Destiny’s prayer coordinator for this event. This Tuesday, February 16th, there is a church engagement rally at First Assembly Church from 6:30-8:30 pm. All are encouraged to attend or pray from home for this prayer rally. Please also be in prayer for the Paha Sapa celebration.

Thanks all, for your continued concern and prayers for Mikella. Her nausea has gotten somewhat better, but the pain levels in her gut have not. She is still home from school, with allowances for her to work from home (for which we are grateful). She has only been able to consume a very minimal amount of food per day.

We continue to lift her up and believe for an expedient and full recovery! And we are working with doctors to keep on exploring the issue as well.

I just wanted to share an update on our daughter, Mikella. I know many of you have been praying. Thank you!

She is still at home -- hasn't been able to function or eat, normally, going on 4 weeks now. The school counselor has been gracious to let her do her schoolwork from home, as she is able.

The good news is that a prescription she started taking this week has had her feeling a little bit better, and she has also started to eat a little more than she was able to previously.

We are contending for wisdom for her care team (and expecting a call from her doctor today, for potential next steps). And we are also believing for a quick and full healing! Thank you, again, for agreeing with us.
