Please pray. I am struggling with loneliness and depression as a result of this isolation. Not having extended family near, not able to attend church together, not having school for Madeline, etc, makes it extremely challenging.

I’m struggling with some depression which is very unusual for me. Please pray that I can find consistent childcare for Madeline as I need time to myself to process, relax and regroup.

Yesterday, my 15-year-old daughter received news of a school friend (from Bayfield) that passed away from COVID-19. We grieved, through tears, as a family yesterday evening. It's so hard to watch your young one have to deal with something like this. She is doing okay, but you can imagine the pain of losing a friend that young. It was a hard day.

Today, we received word that a friend of ours, that I've asked us to pray for before (in the Facebook Community Group and, I believe, here), Debra, who is a fellow Foursquare minister, and a nurse that has worked with us at District camps, has fallen ill, presumed COVID-19. She has been serving on the frontlines in her unit in Fort Morgan, CO, and has been staring death in the face, day after day, many times coming home weary and in tears. They are treating her and trying to avoid pneumonia and other symptoms that are presenting. I've shared some of her stories previously. Today, I want to ask us to stand in faith with her and her family, for healing and protection. She is starting the mandatory 2-week quarantine now.

I declare, in Jesus' name, that Debra is a protected daughter of the King! Wholeness and health will be with her and her entire family (husband and two young kids). Your mercies are new every morning, and I ask that you turn the page in her story. We speak life, and not death. Amen and amen!

Hey fam,

I received the following message from my eldest daughter, Autumn, today. Many of you know and love her, so I asked her permission to share here, so you could be lifting her up. She is a CNA at an assisted living home in Duluth, MN:

--------------

"Whelp, we officially started taking in patients that had the virus. I walked over 14 miles today! We weren’t prepared, at all, for how bad this virus affected patients, and how much it will take for them to recover! The unit I work specifically on is the unit all virus patients will go to, straight from the virus care."

"We have had CDC in our building since Monday. We are now all wearing gowns, gloves, face shields, and masks. Every day, when I get home, I just collapse, extremely worn down... I chose this unit, specifically, because I wanted to work with short term, and the more difficult cares, and that’s exactly what I got! I am working hard, but it’s definitely taking a toll.

...I hope we get more help, soon -- and more supplies! ️
