Christmas eve program

Christmas eve program

We loved seeing everyone this weekend! Feel free to message us during the week if you have any questions. If you missed this week’s message, or want to hear it again, check out our SERMONS Page. Messages are generally posted each week by Tuesday afternoon.

Every week, we aim to provide you with some questions to process the message deeper, either personally or with a small group. Here are some questions for you to consider from the message “Christmas Eve Service with Pastor Sande Lofberg.

KEY SCRIPTURE

  • Matthew 1-2
  • Luke 1-2
  • Mark 14:22

TALK IT OUT

Discuss these questions with someone—maybe a family member, friend, or member of your Connect Group. Use a communication method that works best for your situation.

START TALKING

Find a conversation starter.

  • How important is your family?
  • Do you feel you or your family is beyond God’s reach or ability to use? Explain
  • How has God used your family?

START THINKING

Ask a question to get you/your group thinking.

  • Are you pretending to be perfect? Explain
  • How available are you to be used by God?
  • What part of your life contains worship to God?

START SHARING

Choose a question to create openness.

  • How are you preparing for the New Year?
  • Have you started, or are you continuing to seek God for the New year?
  • Do you have a prayer partner for the new year?

START PRAYING

Be bold and pray with power.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the birth of your son, Jesus. Would you show me what you have planned for 2023? Thank you for the newness of the relationship I will have and continue to have with you.

Amen.

START DOING

Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  1. Pray for those who are hurting and may not know or have lost the joy of this season and 2023.
  2. Pray for Shawn, Deanna, and family.
  3. When did the Wise men arrive at the home of Mary and Joseph?
  4. Spend time seeking God for his view of the new year.
  • Pick one or two of those options and take steps to walk them out this week.
