What an incredible week!
This summer marked the relaunch of our Foursquare Central District Black Hills Summer Camps, and we couldn’t be more grateful for all God did. Churches from across our district came together at Cedar Canyon for a week of worship, friendships, laughter, adventure, and—most importantly—life-changing encounters with Jesus.
Our theme, Fan the Flame (2 Timothy 1:6), challenged students to receive the gift God has given them, fan that gift into flame, and go into the world empowered by Holy Spirit. Throughout the week, we watched that happen in remarkable ways.
Students responded to the Gospel. Many recommitted their lives to Christ. Others experienced physical and emotional healing, were filled with Holy Spirit, discovered new friendships, and sensed God’s call on their lives in fresh ways. The impact of a week spent intentionally pursuing Jesus cannot be overstated.
Destiny was honored to be part of this amazing week. Pastor Shawn had the privilege of serving on the camp staff, leading worship throughout the week, teaching a songwriting workshop, and producing the daily highlight videos you’ll find below.
We hope these videos give you a glimpse into the joy, excitement, and spiritual transformation that took place at camp. Whether you were there in person, praying from home, or are simply curious about what God is doing among the next generation, we invite you to watch, celebrate, and thank God with us.
Because camp isn’t just about making memories.
It’s about making disciples.
