Men’s Retreat

RETREAT theme

ENCOUNTERING ABBA AND FINDING FREEDOM

Scripture Verses:

  • Isaiah 61:1-3
  • Psalm 139:23-24
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:11

The purpose of this retreat is twofold: to delve into deeper fellowship with Abba Father. And through that fellowship, He will reveal obstacles, whether present or past, that hinder us from becoming all we can be in Jesus.

Secondly, to gain freedom from these things — the freedom only God can provide. Essential to all this is fellowship with the men of God that surround us. We are a brotherhood in Jesus. And developing relationships and trust with each other will only strengthen us. This is how we find unity in the body of Christ.

So, come. Come and find a deeper relationship with Father God. And find the camaraderie of being in fellowship with the men of Destiny.

SPEAKER
Pastor Brent Parker

Pastor Brent comes from a family rich in music and ministry. He is a third-generation pastor with deep roots in the soil of Spirit-empowered Christianity. He and his wife Tani planted Destiny Foursquare Church in 1998 with a passion to help spiritually hungry people experience God. In 2018, they answered the call to step into a new season of life and founded See The Voice Ministries. See the Voice is all about turning the hearts of every generation to see and be the voice of God in every nation.

In the Spring of 2018, Brent and Tani relocated to Sioux Falls, SD, where Brent began serving as interim pastor at Church at the Gate. Brent became Lead Pastor in the Fall of 2020 and is loving this season of “encountering God and equipping world-changers” with The Gate family.

TESTIMONIALS

“Destiny’s men’s retreat was a great experience of spiritual growth by a renewing of mind, spirit, and soul. A place where you can gather with other men and address, confront, and let go of a painful past. And then, move forward to a brighter future through a strengthened faith together.”Charles Kopriva

“I was thoroughly blessed by the atmosphere in the room, while the Bruse family blessed us with worshipful music. Holy Spirit’s sweet presence was profound. I look forward with anticipation to worshiping our lovely God with the Destiny men again this year.”Dan Link
