Yesterday, my 15-year-old daughter received news of a school friend (from Bayfield) that passed away from COVID-19. We grieved, through tears, as a family yesterday evening. It's so hard to watch your young one have to deal with something like this. She is doing okay, but you can imagine the pain of losing a friend that young. It was a hard day.

Today, we received word that a friend of ours, that I've asked us to pray for before (in the Facebook Community Group and, I believe, here), Debra, who is a fellow Foursquare minister, and a nurse that has worked with us at District camps, has fallen ill, presumed COVID-19. She has been serving on the frontlines in her unit in Fort Morgan, CO, and has been staring death in the face, day after day, many times coming home weary and in tears. They are treating her and trying to avoid pneumonia and other symptoms that are presenting. I've shared some of her stories previously. Today, I want to ask us to stand in faith with her and her family, for healing and protection. She is starting the mandatory 2-week quarantine now.

I declare, in Jesus' name, that Debra is a protected daughter of the King! Wholeness and health will be with her and her entire family (husband and two young kids). Your mercies are new every morning, and I ask that you turn the page in her story. We speak life, and not death. Amen and amen!
