POWER-FULL, Part 5: More of The Miracle and the Message

POWER-FULL, Part 5: More of The Miracle and the Message

We loved seeing everyone this weekend! Feel free to message us during the week if you have any questions. If you missed this week’s message, or want to hear it again, be sure to check out our SERMONS Page. Messages are generally posted each week by Tuesday afternoon.

Every week, it’s our goal to provide you with some questions to process the message deeper, either personally, or with a small group. Here are some questions for you to consider from this week’s message, “More of The Miracle and The Message”, part 5 of the Power-FULL message series, with Pastor Shawn M. Shoup.

KEY SCRIPTURES

  • Acts 6, 7, and 8 TPT

TALK IT OUT

Discuss these questions with someone—maybe a family member, friend, or member of your Connect Group. Use a communication method that works best for your situation.

Start talking.

Find a conversation starter for your group.

Start thinking.

Ask a question to get your group thinking.

  • Have you ever prayed for a miracle that didn’t happen?
  • What did you think as we recounted the story of Stephen this weekend, in light of praying for miracles? Did it give you a new perspective at all?

Start sharing.

Choose a question to create openness.

  • What do you think about the sovereignty of God?
  • Is God always just and fair? Can you trust Him to work all things out for good?
  • What do you think about the statement: “When God is involved, there will always be a miracle”?

Start praying.

Be bold and pray with power.

God, thank you for your grace and understanding when things don’t happen the way I want or expect them to. Help me to see that you are still working a miracle, even though I may not see it with my eyes. You are a good Father, and I trust that you will work all things out for my good. Amen.

Start doing.

Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  • Don’t stop asking God for miracles in your life!
  • Ask God to help you understand His plan is good when it doesn’t work out the way that you hoped.
  • Elevate the Gospel story over your circumstance.
  • Ask God to give you the grace to suffer well.
