POWER-FULL, Part 4: The Miracle and the Message

POWER-FULL, Part 4: The Miracle and the Message

We loved seeing everyone this weekend! Feel free to message us during the week if you have any questions. If you missed this week’s message, or want to hear it again, be sure to check out our SERMONS Page. Messages are generally posted each week by Tuesday afternoon.

Every week, it’s our goal to provide you with some questions to process the message deeper, either personally, or with a small group. Here are some questions for you to consider from this week’s message, “The Miracle and the Message”, part 4 of the Power-FULL message series, with Pastor Shawn M. Shoup.

KEY SCRIPTURES

  • Acts 3, 4 TPT

TALK IT OUT

Discuss these questions with someone—maybe a family member, friend, or member of your Connect Group. Use a communication method that works best for your situation.

Start talking.

Find a conversation starter for your group.

  • It’s been HOT this past week. What are some of your favorite ways to cool off on a hot summer day?

Start thinking.

Ask a question to get your group thinking.

  • Have you ever heard of a present-day miracle?
  • Have you ever witnessed a miracle?
  • How easy was it for you to discount these miracles as happenstance?

Start sharing.

Choose a question to create openness.

  • Should a modern-day Christian, a New Testament believer, believe in miracles?
  • Should a modern-day Christian look for miracles? Should we be pursuing miracles?

Start praying.

Be bold and pray with power.

God, I want to see miracles! Not because I want a magic show. Not just because I want a demonstration of Your power. But because I want to witness Your work in my world! I want to partner with You in Your miracles. I want to be a part of everything that You are doing — part of everything You want to do. God, thank You for this opportunity. Amen.

Start doing.

Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  • Each day this week look for the miraculous in the mundane. Look for the little things that God is doing that might seem like a coincidence, but are actually the hand of God interacting in your world.
